Why Inflect exists
The web was built around human attention. That is changing.
AI can research products, compare suppliers, and take action across many websites on someone’s behalf. Some interactions bring a visitor. Others produce an answer or complete a purchase. Businesses need to know which of these interactions matter and how to make them valuable.
What makes a machine interaction valuable?
Our research asks:
- Which information AI systems select and rely on
- How agents navigate websites and complete tasks
- Which interactions lead to customers and revenue
- Which changes improve those outcomes across businesses
By testing these questions across websites, we’re developing algorithms and benchmarks to help businesses improve discovery and decide which machine activity is worth serving.
